Yarn: Main Color (MC): Sensations, Angel Hair, purple, wool/acrylic/nylon, bulky weight (5), 70 yards ( 64 meters)
Second Color (SC): Lion Brand Yarn, Vanna's Choice, wild berry, acrylic, medium weight (4), 7 yards ( 6.5 meters)
Accent Color (AC): Lion Brand Yarn, Vanna's Choice, olive, acrylic, medium weight (4), 13 yards ( 12 meters)
Hook: K/10 1/2 (6.50 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Gauge Swatch:
Swatch measures 4"x4"
With MC, ch 21.
Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hk, dc in each st across. Total: 20 st.
Rows 2-8: Ch 3, turn, dc in each st across.
Tie off.


Stitches:
Sc dec:(Insert hk in next st, YO, pull thread through st) 2x, YO, pull thread through remaining 3 lps.

Neck Warmer:
With MC, ch 60, sl st in beg ch to make a lp.
Rnds 1-3: Ch 3 beg dc here and throughout, dc in each st around, sl st in beg st. Total: 60 st.
Rnd 4: Ch 4 beg dc and 1-ch, skip next st, (dc in next st, ch 1, skip next st)36x, sl st in beg st.
Rnds 5-7: Rep rnd 1.
Tie off.

Bud:
(make 2)
With SC, ch 2.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hk, don't sl st in beg st.
Rnd 2: (2 sc in next st) 6x. Total: 12 sc.
Rnds 3-4: Sc in each st around.
Rnd 5: (sc dec) 3x. Tie off.

Tie:
With AC,
Ch 151, sl st in 2nd ch from hk, sl st in each st across. Total: 150 st. Tie off. Weave tie in and out of the dcs in rnd 4 of neck warmer. Sew a bud on the end of each tie.
