Second Color (SC): Baby Bee, Sweet Delight Baby, Crayons Ombre, 60% acrylic/ 40% polyamide, light weight (3), 27 yards (25 meters)
Accent Color (AC): Caron, Simply Soft, Lavender Blue, 100% acrylic, medium weight (4), 20 yards (18 meters)
Aluminum crochet hook: G/6 (4.25 mm)
Small replacement squeakers: Qty: 3 or more (found in pet stores in the dog toy aisle.)

With MC, ch 17.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hk, sc in each st across. Total: 16 st.
Rows 2-19: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across.
Tie off.

Row 16: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in same st, sc in each st across. Total: 20 st.
Row 17: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in same st, sc in next 18 st, 2 sc in last st. Total: 22 st.
Row 18: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in same st, sc in next 20 st, 2 sc in last st.
Row 19: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in same st, sc in next 22 st, 2 sc in last st.
Row 20: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in same st, sc in next 24 st, 2 sc in last st.

Strap/Side Panel:
With SC, ch 171.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hk, sc in each st across. Total: 170 st.
Rows 2-4: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across.
Tie off, leaving a 10" strand.

Attachment:
With Strap, align st #1 and st #65 of row 1 together. Do the same for row 4. Attach the two layers together
across all 4 rows. Strap is made. With RS of a heart and side panel together, align the bottom of st
#65 on row 1 to the bottom of beg st on the heart. Attach each st from st #65 to st #160. Leave remaining
st undone for now.



With RS of 2nd heart and side panel together, align st #65 on row 4 of the side panel to the bottom of beg st on
the heart. Attach each st around on the BACK LOOP ONLY. Note: Front loops should be on RS of work. Turn work RS out.

Ruffle:
With AC, sl st in any front loop of the side panel on row 4.
Row 1: Ch 3, 2 dc in same st, 3 dc in the front loop of each st around. Sl st in beg st. Tie off.

Finish:
Stuff heart with polyfill until thickness is to your liking. Place squeakers in heart, and finish stitching up
opening in side of heart.
