"E" crochet hook
"D" crochet hook or one size smaller
˝ skein Red Heart Super Saver Yarns "Black"
1/2 skein cotton crochet thread #10 "Black"
Seed beadsYou need 20 beads for each flower. There are 11 flowers You can have
the beads be all the same color, or you can make the center of each flower be a different
color.
Scraps of yarn in these colors: golden yellow, medium yellow, deep fuchsia, medium
fuchsia, grey blue, light blue, samon, pink, gold metallic, ivory, marine blue, light
grey, burghandy, peach with gold thread mixed in, plum, lavender, navy, royal blue,
periwinkle, lt purple, deep pink rose, hot pink
(I used a discontinued wool thread that was for crewel work. It was a DMC brand.
You can use any type of yarn. I believe the fuzzier/softer it is the nicer it will look.)
DMC floss: 3-4 skeins of light green, 3 skeins of medium green, and 2 skeins of dark green.
You'll take 2 skeins doubled up and crochet with them together. You don't have to use
floss thread, but something else. I use this because it gives a silky look with the fuzzy
look of the flowers.

Attaching
Arrange the 11 roses, 3 dark green, 3 medium green, and 6 light green leaves between rows
19 and 38. With the black yarn, sew the pieces on from the backside of the scarf.
With the medium green that is used for the leaves you are going to make the "stem" on the
ties of the scarf. I began at the end flower and sl st into the scarf from the front sd.
proceeded to ch 4 and sc in the front side of a dc, working my way back and forth across
the front of the scarf toward the bottom. When I got near the bottom I repeated (ch 2, sc)
working my "stem" into a spiral. Tie off. Do the same for the opposite tie.
Arrange the remaining leaves on the ties making sure that they are tacked down good.
With the black yarn, sew the pieces on from the backside of the scarf.
Enjoy!
